I’m from Colorado, where spending time outdoors and exploring the mountains (whether skiing, hiking, fishing, backpacking, or anything else) were central parts of my childhood. I have always loved getting my hands dirty to create things — whether small knick-knacks that make my immediate life easier, or more serious projects like affordable and aesthetically pleasing farming equipment for the backyard farming movement.
In 2016 I started at Stanford University, where, in an effort to merge my love for art and my urge to create, I decided to pursue a degree in product design. The product design curriculum allowed me to learn both technical skills and processes, as well as design thinking and the human-centered side of design that is crucial for any great product. Currently, I am back at Stanford pursuing a master's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Beyond my academic work, I like to get outside and explore, whether skiing or fly fishing.
Moving forward, I hope to apply my skills in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary workspace. I thrive in fast paced environments, and I am always eager to learn and tackle new challenges.
